Pierre Daniel Wittmann

Pierre Daniel Wittmann is a German lawyer and data protection officer and advises on all matters pertaining to information technology (IT) and data protection law. In the area of IT law, he supports companies with the implementation of IT infrastructure projects and assists them in preparing and negotiating IT outsourcing projects in the financial services sector. Furthermore, he drafts contracts for online marketing campaigns of start-ups. In data protection law, he provides strategic advice on how to design the contracts for international data transfers within a group of companies and helps clients ensure their websites are in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Pierre Daniel Wittmann studied law in Freiburg and Münster (both Germany). His subsequent legal training in Bonn (Germany) included training periods at the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York (USA) and at eBay in Berlin (Germany). In September 2017, he took up work at a large international law firm before moving to a Big4 firm in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). Pierre Daniel Wittmann joined the IT/IP team of Luther’s Frankfurt office in January 2021.
