Areas of practice

Lisa Niesen concentrates her practice on real estate law. She specialises in providing comprehensive legal project support by advising clients on complex construction projects from planning through to completion. In addition to providing advice during construction and during projects, this also includes advising on public procurement law aspects and drafting contracts, as well as enforcing claims against contractors. Furthermore, Liesa Niesen advises on real estate transactions and on matters related to commercial landlord and tenant law.

Lisa Niesen is a certified specialist in building and architectural law and has been working as a real estate lawyer in our Essen office since 2020. Lisa Niesen studied law at the University of Münster (Germany) from 2008 to 2013, with a particular emphasis on business law, following which she carried out her legal training at the Regional Court of Essen (Germany). After working for about three years as a real estate lawyer in a large international law firm, Lisa Niesen moved to Luther in early 2020 and has since been advising public and private sector clients on all matters pertaining to real estate law.
