Areas of practice

Leon Breiden advises managers, insolvency administrators, investors and creditors on all aspects of insolvency law (including the related areas of corporate and credit security law). He primarily advises on the continuation of companies in diverse industries, in particular when the debtor remains in possession and continues to operate its business (“debtor-in-possession management”). In addition, he also advises clients on their financial restructuring or reorganisation and on the acquisition of insolvent companies.

Vita

Leon Breiden studied law with a particular focus on company law in Trier (Germany) and Reading (England). After graduating from university, he worked as a research assistant at a chair for civil and civil procedural law. He then carried out his legal training in the District of the Higher Regional Court of Cologne (Germany), part of which involved working in internationally operating law firms in restructuring and insolvency.
