Julian Plötz

Julian Plötz concentrates his practice on public procurement law. He primarily advises the public sector and public-sector companies on the legal organisation of procurement procedures and the drafting and negotiation of contracts. 

In addition, he also specialises in subsidy law, advising both the public sector and private companies in a comprehensive manner, also and in particular in proceedings regarding the recovery of subsidies granted.

Julian Plötz studied law at the University of Passau (Germany). Part of his subsequent legal training in the District of the Regional Court of Chemnitz in the German state of Saxony involved working with a leading procurement service provider.

Julian Plötz first joined Luther’s Leipzig office as a research assistant in 2021 and later worked there as a legal trainee before becoming an Associate in October 2024.
