Jael Marquardt’s practice focuses on advising lenders, borrowers and private equity investors on all matters pertaining to banking and finance law. Her services include assisting with the structuring, negotiation and documentation of syndicated loans, acquisition, project and real estate financing and also factoring and securitisation transactions. In addition, she advises on all aspects of corporate bonds, as well as on non-performing loans and financial restructurings.
Jael Marquardt further specialises in advising on all issues relating to the judicial and extrajudicial settlement of, in particular, corporate, banking and finance disputes.
Jael Marquardt studied law at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). She carried out her legal training in Frankfurt am Main and Berlin (Germany), with training periods in various international law firms and the German Federal Foreign Office, amongst others.
Prior to joining Luther, Jael Marquardt worked as a lawyer with another large renowned international law firm.
