Iris López Martínez studied law in Spain, the Netherlands and London (England). After being admitted as an Abogada in 2016, she worked for Fieldfisher in Barcelona (Spain) for three years. In Germany, Iris López Martínez worked for KPMG AG and an international commercial law firm for several years. She also spent six months working in an IP boutique in Beijing (China), where she gained experience in the Asian market. Iris López Martínez specialises in intellectual property law, in particular trademark and copyright law. In addition, she also has extensive experience advising on IT and data protection law. Iris López Martínez has been admitted to the Berlin Bar as a European lawyer.

• Advice on brand strategy, defending trademark rights and avoiding trademark infringements for various German start-ups and wholesale companies.
• Strategy and monitoring of trademark portfolios for German and international companies (with a focus on the Spanish and Chinese markets).
• Advice on licence agreements, software contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) as well as on legal issues relating to the digitalisation of German and international companies.
