Denise Bartels provides legal advice in all areas of health care law. In the inpatient sector, her advisory services focus on legal issues related to hospital planning, financing and remuneration, both in the somatic field and in psychiatry and the psychosomatic field. In the outpatient sector, Denise Bartels specialises in advising medical centres and panel doctors of all disciplines, and her expertise also comprises the legally compliant design of cooperation across sectors. Another area of focus is rehabilitation and nursery care, where Denise Bartels advises in particular inpatient rehabilitation facilities on financing and remuneration issues.
Denise Bartels studied law in Osnabrück (Germany) and Paris (France). Before moving to Luther, she worked as a lawyer in two large commercial law firms in the field of medical law, focusing on advising outpatient and inpatient service providers, as well as in the public sector. Denise Bartels obtained a Master of Laws degree in medical law from the University of Münster (Germany) in 2019 and, since 2022, has additionally been a certified specialist in medical law.
