Luther advises Vorwerk & Co. KG on the management buy-out of Vorwerk Teppichwerke

Essen/Dusseldorf – A management team from Vorwerk Flooring is taking over Vorwerk Teppichwerke as part of a management buy-out. Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH advised the Vorwerk Group on the entire process.

Background

Over the past few years, the Vorwerk Group has succeeded in growing continuously in an ever faster changing world and establishing itself as an innovative company. This success is based on a long-term future and growth strategy that is secured by considerable investment in digitalisation and innovation.

In order to strengthen the focus associated with the growth strategy, the Vorwerk Group has accepted an offer from a management team at Vorwerk Flooring to run Vorwerk Teppichwerke as an independent company outside the Vorwerk group at the Hamelin location in future. The Vorwerk Group will support the development of the business including the licensing of the Vorwerk brand and will make its contribution to the continued existence of the plant.

The final closing of the transaction will take place separately.
