Luther Appoints Partner from Within Its Own Ranks

Cologne – With Daniel Fehling (39), Luther has once again promoted a lawyer from within its own ranks to partner with effect from 1 July 2020. Fehling advises in the areas of Corporate/M&A and Litigation. His clients include, in particular, family businesses and medium-sized companies as well as their shareholders. Another focus of his services is the fund sector. Fehling is a member of the industry group Mobility & Logistics and the practice group Complex Disputes.

Background

Daniel Fehling studied law at the Universities of Trier, Germany, and Athens, Greece. In 2007 he received his Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) in Commercial Law from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. After successfully completing his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Celle, Germany, Fehling was admitted to the German bar in 2010, following which he worked for two medium-sized law boutiques before he joined Luther in 2013. Fehling is a certified specialist in commercial and corporate law as well as in banking and capital markets law.

"The development of our lawyers and tax advisors is an important part of our development programme", said Co-Managing Partner Markus Sengpiel. "In addition to recognising Mr Fehling’s individual personality and performance, this appointment also shows that Luther is a good place to develop yourself and your career", Sengpiel continued.
