Luther hires new corporate partner and of counsel from DLA Piper

Köln, 22.01.2024 – As of 1 February, Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft will be strengthened in the Corporate/M&A practice area at its Cologne office with partner Marx Dauth (35) and Of Counsel Dr Andreas Meyer-Landrut (65) in Düsseldorf. Both lawyers come from DLA Piper.

Background

Most recently, Dauth was Counsel at DLA Piper. He advises bilingual (German and French) clients from the energy and insurance sectors, in particular on corporate law, focussing on stock corporation and group law. He also specialises in the area of corporate litigation. With Dauth, Luther intends to strengthen and expand the area of stock corporation and group law, which is important for the full-service law firm, throughout Germany.

Marx Dauth will start at the same time as Of Counsel Andreas Meyer-Landrut, who is also moving from DLA Piper and has decades of experience in corporate law, particularly in stock corporation and group law. Meyer-Landrut is regularly mentioned in the JUVE Handbook and in Legal 500 and strengthens the Luther team in Düsseldorf.

"With the well-established team of Dauth and Meyer-Landrut, we are further expanding the important area of capital markets law and advice on stock corporation law and strengthening our existing expertise in these important areas for a full-service law firm. The energy and insurance law expertise of the two new colleagues also fits in perfectly with our industrial competences. We are delighted to have gained such a strong and experienced team for Luther," explains Dr Stefan Galla, head of the Corporate/M&A service line.
